UHA named one of the 2010 Best Workplace and Healthiest Workplace in Hawaii

UHA received top honors as the Healthiest Workplace among medium-size companies (50-149 employees), in addition to being honored as one of the Best Places to Work by Hawaii Business Magazine.

"Wellness" is part of UHA's culture. Therefore, UHA established a wellness program which includes healthy breakfast items, fresh fruits, and reimbursement for participation in wellness activities. The wellness program also provides UHA associates with individual and team bonuses and up to eight hours of personal leave every six months for participation in the program.
