As an employer, you may have questions about taxes and fees added by federal health care reform.
The Affordable Care Act (ACA) imposes new taxes and fees which will increase the cost of coverage. Three of the additions, in order of largest to smallest financial impact, are described below. UHA is not aware of any legal prohibition against passing the increased costs on to your plan members; however, this would be a matter for you to discuss with your own professional advisor.
