Important Notice Regarding COVID-19 Treatment Benefit Update

From April 1, 2020, through April 30, 2023 UHA is covering 100% of the UHA eligible charge for medically necessary services related to COVID-19 treatment. These enhanced benefits are voluntarily provided by UHA to assist members that contract COVID-19. These benefits are not required to be provided by the federal COVID-19 state of emergency or any other mandate.

In anticipation of the federal COVID-19 state of emergency ending this year, UHA Health Insurance is informing you that these enhanced voluntary benefits will end April 30, 2023. As of May 1, 2023, your plan benefits will revert back to regular deductibles, co-pays, and coinsurance for medically necessary services related to COVID-19 treatment.
