New Improvements to UHA Online Provider Services – Provider Portal

UHA is dedicated to delivering simple solutions to enhance our providers’ experience.  

We’re excited to announce new Prior Authorization (PA) features designed to improve the online experience available to providers using our UHA Online Provider Services provider portal.

These enhancements make it fast and easy to know the status of PA requests and are available to providers now:

• Search PA requests by PA ID, UHA member ID or date of service year.
• Turnaround time added for PA requests with all necessary information submitted within the provider portal.
• Due date added for PA requests needing additional information.
• Definitions added for the various PA statuses and request types.

How to view the new features within the provider portal:

1. Log in to the provider portal.
   1. Register for an account if you have not already done so.
2. To view Prior Authorizations, select the Prior Authorizations tab.
3. To view letters from UHA regarding approval status, select the “view” button in the Documents column.
