Broker In-House Account Representative

Department: Employer Services     Work: Full-Time

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

  • Provide administrative support to Account Representatives, and customer service to Brokers and UHA employer groups to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Maintain Broker Service email inbox and serve as the primary contact for the Broker Service ACD phone line

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Skills/Knowledge

  • Able to navigate through internal and external computer systems including Microsoft Word and Excel, and have proficient PC keyboarding skills
  • Able to use acquired knowledge and willingness to learn new skills
  • Able to calculate discounts extensions, additions, ratios and allocations
  • Able to work as a contributing team member towards achieving the stated goals of management

Education/Certification/Licensure

  • High School degree required; Associate degree preferred

Experience

  • Two (2) years of recent Account Representative or relevant experience
  • Recent healthcare experience preferred

COBRA Specialist

COBRA Specialist

Department: Employer Services       Work: Full-Time

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

  • Primary purpose is to data process and update employer groups and build premium billing structure of COBRA for new groups, renewed groups, terminated groups and benefits changes
  • Answer COBRA incoming calls regarding billing, payment and eligibility
  • Coordinate and maintain COBRA eligibility, payments and monthly billing statements
  • Assist in compiling of documentation for research

Skills/Knowledge

  • Able to navigate through internal and external computer systems including Microsoft Word and Excel, and have proficient PC keyboarding skills
  • Able to use acquired skills & knowledge and willingness to learn new skills
  • Able to interpret Group Benefit Plan Coverage
  • Able to analyze and enroll eligibility for Coordination of Benefits between more than one carrier
  • Thorough knowledge of QNXT and Pharmacy Benefit Manager system applications
  • Able to analyze and explain a member’s eligibility history
  • Able to work as a contributing team member towards achieving the stated goals of management

Education/Certification/Licensure

  • High School degree required, Associate degree or equivalent specialized business school training preferred

Experience

  • Three years of customer service experience required
  • Recent healthcare industry experience preferred

Health Care Services Clerk II

Department: Health Care Services Work: Full-Time

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

Support the Health Care Services department in daily operations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Skills/Knowledge

  • Able to operate basic office equipment, e.g. fax machine, copier and printer

Outreach Liaison

Outreach Liaison

Department: Contracting Services      Work: Full-Time

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

The primary purpose is to establish and maintain relations with our network of healthcare providers; to recruit new providers to our network; to assist providers to resolve claims or coding issues to educate Providers on new initiatives and other UHA services.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Skills/Knowledge

  • Able to navigate through internal and external computer systems including Microsoft Word and Excel, and have proficient PC keyboarding skills
  • Able to use acquired skills & knowledge and willing to learn new skills
  • Proficient in CPT coding
  • Proficient in provider reimbursement and fee schedules
  • Able to problem solve 

Education/Certification/Licensure

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance in accordance with UHA required minimums
  • Associate Degree required, Bachelor degree from an accredited college/university preferred
  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC) preferred, or a commitment to obtain the CPC credential within designated timeframe determined by department manager 

Experience

  • Two years of healthcare-related experience, health insurance preferred
