Broker In-House Account Representative

Department: Employer Services     Work: Full-Time

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

  • Provide administrative support to Account Representatives, and customer service to Brokers and UHA employer groups to ensure client satisfaction and retention
  • Maintain Broker Service email inbox and serve as the primary contact for the Broker Service ACD phone line

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Skills/Knowledge

  • Able to navigate through internal and external computer systems including Microsoft Word and Excel, and have proficient PC keyboarding skills
  • Able to use acquired knowledge and willingness to learn new skills
  • Able to calculate discounts extensions, additions, ratios and allocations
  • Able to work as a contributing team member towards achieving the stated goals of management

Education/Certification/Licensure

  • High School degree required; Associate degree preferred

Experience

  • Two (2) years of recent Account Representative or relevant experience
  • Recent healthcare experience preferred

Corporate Account Executive

Department: Sales     Work: Full-Time

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

  • Responsible for achieving assigned sales goals through successful new business development 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Skills/Knowledge

  • Insurance Producer License 431:9A-102 required
    • New Hires are allowed three months from date of hire to acquire Health Insurance Producer License Certification
    • While studying for licensing, Account Executive will execute functions of an AE with the exception of selling
    • If unable to acquire Health Insurance Producer License at the end of three month period, employment with UHA will be terminated

Experience

  • Five years of recent applicable sales experience
  • Healthcare, human resources, or teaching experience a plus

Learning and Development Coach

Learning and Development Coach

Department: Associate Services       Work: Full-Time

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

Analyze and determine training needs for the company. Develop and implement plans, procedures, and programs to meet specific training needs by using blended training methods. Develop and construct training manuals and aids or may supervise their development by outside suppliers. Also responsible for succession planning that includes the administration of Better Leaders and Catalytic Coaching programs.

Skills/Knowledge

  • Able to design and deliver best practice training using a variety of techniques
  • Proven presentation and facilitation skills: demonstrated ability/knowledge in conducting training and comfortable speaking to individuals and groups
  • Possess knowledge and experience of adult learning theories, needs assessment techniques, career development theories, and appropriate use of a variety of training methods
  • Proven critical thinking skills: Demonstrated ability develop or assess materials that will help associates understand the subjects being taught
  • Planning/organizing: Must plan, organize, prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently and develop realistic action plans to achieve results
  • Able to function as a development coach to associates and management: Pro-actively develop trust and professional rapport when working with associate and management to identify skill building activities
  • Quality control: Must demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and monitor own work to ensure quality; ability to develop and proof training materials
  • Able to think creatively: Brings an imaginative approach to the job, inspiring innovation, risk-taking, and creative problem solving
  • Able to maintain confidentiality in daily operations
  • Knowledge of business office operations, such as filing and administrative clerical operations
  • Able to navigate through internal and external computer systems including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and have proficient PC keyboarding skills

Education/Certification/Licensure

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Training and Development, Instructional Design & Performance Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) certification desired
  • American Training & Development (ATD) Coaching certificate desired

Experience

  • Three years of specialized adult training experience, including planning, designing, and developing training programs
  • Business coaching and/or Human Resources experience preferred

Outreach Liaison

Outreach Liaison

Department: Contracting Services      Work: Full-Time

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

The primary purpose is to establish and maintain relations with our network of healthcare providers; to recruit new providers to our network; to assist providers to resolve claims or coding issues to educate Providers on new initiatives and other UHA services.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Skills/Knowledge

  • Able to navigate through internal and external computer systems including Microsoft Word and Excel, and have proficient PC keyboarding skills
  • Able to use acquired skills & knowledge and willing to learn new skills
  • Proficient in CPT coding
  • Proficient in provider reimbursement and fee schedules
  • Able to problem solve 

Education/Certification/Licensure

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance in accordance with UHA required minimums
  • Bachelor degree from an accredited college/university preferred, Associates degree acceptable
  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC) preferred, or a commitment to obtain the CPC credential within designated timeframe determined by department manager 

Experience

  • Two years of healthcare-related experience, health insurance preferred
